Dog Training Program Length
Program's are designed on an individual basis to meet the needs of each client and their pet. Puppy Essentials and Reactivity Training are typically completed within 6 weeks of the first booking. Well Mannered Dog is typically completed within 8 weeks of the first booking. When starting a program, it's important to continue training session frequency at the recommendation of the trainer. Missing sessions can hinder your dog progress by causing confusion and/or boredom. 

 

Pet Sitting Services 

Dates and times of pet service bookings will be discussed during a Meet and Greet. 

A Meet and Greet is required for all new client.​

Payment Policy

Payments must be paid in full at the end of each session/booking either online or in person for Pet Sitting Services. You are required to submit a $10 scheduling fee to hold your appointment slot(s) for Pet Sitting Services as well as Individually Paid and Follow Up Dog Training Sessions. This fee will go towards the final price.​ When booking Puppy Essentials, Reactivity Training or Well Mannered Dog training programs, you are required to submit a deposit of $500 to hold your appointment slots. Payment for these programs must be paid in full 24 hours before the programs start date.

Late Booking Request for Pet Sitting Services

If you request to book without proper notice of at least five (5) days prior to the start of the visit, there will be an addition service fee. Same day booking request will be an additional $10 per visit. Less than twenty-four (24) hour booking request will an additional $8 per visit. Less than seventy-two (72) hour booking request will be an additional $5 per visit.

Dog Training Cancellations/No Shows

Any cancellations or failures to attend a scheduled appointment without advance notice of at least twenty-four (24) hours (i.e., a “no-show”) will be counted as one (1) session and will not be rescheduled. In extreme circumstances Wagging Tails K9 reserves the right to evaluate a late notice rescheduling request and to decide accordingly.

Pet Sitting Cancellations
Any cancellations without advance notice of at least twenty-four (24) hours will be billed at ½ the normal appointment fee. In extreme circumstances Wagging Tails K9 reserves the right to evaluate a late notice cancellation request and to decide accordingly. ​

 

Refund Policy

Please enroll in our programs and services with intention, purpose, belief, commitment, and decision. Clients are not entitled to a refund or chargeback, regardless of results. Your satisfaction with any of our programs or services is important to us. Due to the time, effort, preparation and care that goes into creating and/or providing our programs and services, we have a no refund policy.

Modification

Wagging Tails K9 may modify the terms of this agreement at any time. All modifications shall be posted on www.waggingtailsk9.com.

 

Limited Liability

Wagging Tails K9’s programs are developed strictly for educational and informational purposes. You accept and agree that you are 100% responsible for your progress and results from any program you purchase. Wagging Tails K9 will work directly with you and your pet to impart contemporary animal behavior knowledge that best fits your needs. You accept and agree that successful companion pet programs depend on a combination of learned skills on the part of the pet and owner. It’s important that you understand behavior is not static; an animal will not continue to perform, even trained behaviors, without ongoing practice. Especially in cases involving aggression. Although behavior may be modified, the dog is never considered “cured”. A pet’s behavior is ultimately the owner’s responsibility. You agree and accept that obedience training and/or behavior modification may be an activity in which damage or injury to dog(s) and/or persons may occur. You agree and accept that you will assume full financial and moral responsibility for the actions of your dog(s). You agree and accept that dog(s) may be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions which include, but are not limited to, vehicular travel, interactions with people and other animals, exposure to adverse weather, and exposure to areas with crowds and all types of traffic.

 

You agree that you and your heirs, assignees, and legal representatives will not make claim against, sue, or attack the property of The Owner, Wagging Tails K9, her family, acquaintances, or any other person acting on her behalf (hereinafter referred to as “Her Agents”), for injury or damage done to or by dog(s) resulting from action or negligence, however caused, by The Owner or Her Agents. You agree to forever release The Owner and/or Her Agents from any and all liability and demands which you, and you heirs, assignees, and legal representatives may have or may hereafter have for injury or damage to or by dog(s) and assume all risks thereof. You and The Owner hereby agree to mediate and/or arbitrate any misunderstandings that may arise pursuant to the terms contained herein. In any action or proceeding arising out of this agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement of cost and legal fees. This Contract for Training Services supersedes all other agreements, written or oral, previously made between you and The Owner.

 

Wagging Tails K9 LLC (owned and operated by Denise Avendaño) liability to you is limited. To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Wagging Tails K9 be liable for damages of any kind (including, but not limited to, special, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data, regardless of the foreseeability of those damages) arising out of or in connection with your use of this website or any other materials or services provided to you by Wagging Tails K9. This limitation shall apply regardless of whether the damages arise out of breach of contract, tort, or any other legal theory or form of action. Furthermore, The Owner in her sole discretion reserves the right to remove or ban anyone from any program and/or groups formed on this website at any time if they do not adhere to the programs and/or group rules as specified within the program and/or group. WTK9 is not required to issue refunds to those who are terminated from the Program for failure to adhere to the program and/or group rules.

 

All information and media provided in the programs offered by Wagging Tails K9 is for your use only. You must not copy, transmit, record, share, or otherwise distribute any information or media without the advance written consent of Wagging Tails K9. Wagging Tails K9 reserves all rights under law for any unauthorized use or distribution of the information and media provided by Wagging Tails K9.
